We are excited to be expanding and to offer a Kalgoorlie based Electrician with underground exposure a full time position at Electra Worx. The position will also be available to a suitable Perth based FIFO Electrician.

Continued maintenance works on specialised diamond drill rigs, general on site Electrical Installs and having the ability to be independent with the day to day operational schedule.
Being a unique scope of works and gear you will be expected to work on, we understand the need for training. We will provide the necessary training out of our Perth based workshop for you to feel comfortable and confident to be in the field. Field training and introductions will also be provided.

Information of the underground day to day activities for you to be aware of.
Visiting the underground Drill sites and conducting a visual inspection of the Rig, catching up with the Drill operators to resolve any electrical issues they have picked up on the Rig.
Monthly electrical servicing may take place on certain days. Attend to breakdowns and gain valuable fault finding knowledge through experience working with both HV and LV circuits.
Touching based with the team and giving feedback of how the day went, raise concerns with management and supervisors so we can enhance your next working day. Putting through parts orders if any consumables were used during the day and if a restock is needed.
Plan for the following day and be home for an early dinner.
